Coffee lovers! Bourbon lovers! Rejoice! Once again, Groundwork’s very own R&D team has been pulling late nights in the lab. This time, they’ve emerged with a little something special that blends our brand-new Big Shot espresso and Bulleit Bourbon into one fine cocktail. Just in time for your New Year’s festivities, we give you The Black Bourbon. Enjoy! (We have a feeling you will . . .)
• 2oz. (double shot) Big Shot espresso
• ½oz. Maple Syrup
• 1oz. Bulleit Bourbon
• 1oz. heavy cream
• Ice cubes - for shaker & glass
• Dash of freshly grated nutmeg
- Put all ingredients (besides nutmeg) into cocktail shaker.
- Shake vigorously.
- Pour over ice in lowball/rocks glass.
- Lightly dust with fresh nutmeg.
Yields a 5oz. cocktail
