Tasting Notes: Mild and sweet with floral notes and a citrusy accent.
The British “e” in “Grey” — as opposed to the American “a” — betrays this tea’s English origins. Named after the 2nd Lord Earl Grey, Prime Minister in the 1830s, it is traditionally a black tea blend infused with oil from bergamot orange rind. This blend, however, is made with sweet and floral China Green tea leaves for a lighter and more refreshing cup.
