Position Overview:
The Operations Floater provides coverage and support in the Distribution, Production, Brewery, and
Customer Service departments as assigned. This individual would work in a variety of areas as need arises.

also gaining a well-rounded understanding of operations as a whole.
What You’ll Do:
Flexible F/T Schedule [Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day (The Manager will specify start time and end time) There may be overtime requested depending on work load.

Distribution:
*Wrap, package, and ship orders
*Drive vehicles to designated destinations for customer product deliveries, including DSD
*Load and unload products from delivery vehicles

Production
:
*Weigh, bag, grind, label, pack, and create custom coffee and tea blends per customer request
*Maintain the cleanliness of each workstation
*Fill coffee/tea racks, ensuring freshness of coffee/tea. Return unused coffee to roasting, as directed

Brewery
:
*Receive and unload freight both manually and with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
*Follow recipes and instructions to produce, pack, and prepare cold brew for shipment.
*Maintain the cleanliness of brewing facility, supplies, and equipment.

What It Takes To Rock This Role:

*High School Diploma, G.E.D. or 1- 2 years equivalent applicable work experience
*Thoroughness, high productivity standards, and attention to detail
*Superior SAFE driving skills and able to follow all driving & safety laws
*Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving history; and be familiar with LA County
*Have a positive attitude with good customer service skills
*Flexibility in your work schedule
*Ability to communicate and interact well with other employees and our customers

Work Environment:

*Warehouse-type, small office environment: busy, conversationally noisy, tight quarters, sometimes stuffy,
dusty, ever-present coffee roasting aroma.

 

Physical Demands:

*This position is very active
*Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
*Stand or sit comfortably for 6 to 8 hours a day
*Walking (on even and uneven surfaces), stooping, bending, twisting, leaning, & grasping
