Regenerative Organic CertifiedTM (ROCTM), builds upon the legacy of the organic movement by promoting holistic agriculture practices in an all-encompassing certification that:
Increases soil organic matter over time and sequesters carbon below and above ground, which could be a tool to mitigate climate change
Improves animal welfare
Provides economic stability and fairness for farmers, ranchers, and workers
Why this coffee is so important
Studies show that the effects of climate change will reduce the area suitable for growing coffee by up to 50% by 2050. In less than 30 years, your morning cup of coffee, and the livelihood of smallholder farmers around the world, are at great risk. Reducing greenhouse gas emissions is the best way we know to ensure the future of coffee.
